Harry Callahan
This is one of my favourite photographs by Harry Callahan. The two people in this image look very lonely, almost like they are missing/ looking for someone who isn’t there. The detail in this picture is very minimal which I think might portray how the woman and little girl are feeling. I really like the use of the lighting in this photograph, there is only a small amount of light used which is focused on the two people, creating interesting shadows. I think that because this picture is black and white it gives more of a dated and serious feel to it.
